A Gaza'n tale

Written by Fatema Mehjabin Sultana- (Final year, Jagannath University )

I've been tacit,

unable to hearken,

In my pulse & heartbeat,

I've got deep silence,

By bomb my abode got hit,

Aside, by foe my ease hadst been stolen.

There's no one, who shade or care,

As they're all sightless and obscure,

toward sooth, unfeigned & fair,

& found, no one tangible or pure,

Not anyone to share,

our moroseness, grouch, which makes us insecure.

Aloof far from own kin,

about prostrate coast & miles.

For long epoch they've not been seen,

by my blink, glance or eyes.

Now I am unable to wit or ken,

psora about my beloveds for genocide & serene.

I'am remain sole and singly,

& ponder how my mobs are bearing,

all onslaught & foray terribly,

How my chum and kinsman are dying

by marauder & grab's manslaughter brutally,

Ik witnessing in wonky way to do anything.

Once, I was in own coast with my family,

hadst wonderful trice with sibling,

& used to remain under the shadow of parent's love happily,

Now!  no longer I  know if they are alive or perishing,

As if  breathe in a hoggish world desolately,

Though it seems freak but it's a reality what harshly appearing.
